The Keyholding Company holds a unique place in the security industry, combining over two decades' experience of traditional keyholding and alarm response services with a tech-driven, innovative ethos and ambitious plans to diversify.
We deliver around 1,500,000 services a year to c.7500 clients, through 200 local security companies (our 'Service Partners') and our own self-delivered London mobile security operation.
As OD, you will take on the key role of leading the delivery of our service, including the Control and Command Centre, Service Partner management, and our London (mobile security) self-delivery operation, as well as our expanding emergency guarding service. Through a diverse team of c.100 people, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding service to our clients, as well as having full responsibility for the P&L and driving continuous improvement to service delivery and financial performance.
We have an in-house data and technology team who develop our bespoke best-of-breed technology for both our customer service and operational delivery. You will become a key customer for them as you finesse the intricacies of running high volume, complex services through frictionless and scalable processes.
You will be managing teams across multiple locations within the Greater London area with our Command and Control Centre based in Enfield, and our Field-based mobile operations team in Central London. You will enable the leaders of these teams to deliver our strategic and operational priorities through their people and our service partners, ensuring high levels of capability, industry compliance, innovation, and engagement across the teams.
What you get:
* Excellent base salary of £100,000 to £120,000 per annum (DOE)

You will be (but not limited to):
* Ensuring customer-centric end-to-end delivery, including setting and adhering to agreed KPIs, across all services
* Continuous improvement through digital transformation and analysis to drive efficiencies and service quality
* Assuming executive responsibility for our London Operations team and Service Partners, ensuring compliance with industry standards throughout and fostering excellent relationships and a strong sense of community amongst teams
* Delivering on-budget in terms of OPEX and CAPEX across all teams, particularly of physical assets in London Operations
* Working alongside our Product, Strategy, and Technology Directors to ensure that our product and technology roadmap deliver exceptional quality for our team, customers, and suppliers, and that these developments are integrated seamlessly into the heart of our operations
* Reporting to the UK MD on all matters relating to Health and Safety in our London Operations and all service delivery teams
* Assuming core responsibility for our Command and Control Centre team and premises
* Managing the service quality and helping to drive strong revenue growth within our emergency guarding team
An excellent candidate for this role will be:
* 5 years plus of experience within the security sector at a senior level is required, preferably with some experience of the guarding sector, although candidates with broader security experience will be considered
* An excellent and adaptable communicator. You will need to communicate effectively with a range of people from senior corporate clients to our leadership team, command and control team members, and front-line operatives, building high trust and creating clarity of focus
* A highly motivating leader, with proven experience of maintaining a sustained commitment to excellence in your team
* A confident driver of change. A key aspect of your role will be the introduction of new technologies and processes into existing teams, and helping to lead them in new operational directions, which will require their enthusiastic cooperation. Instilling trust and confidence in your teams will be essential, especially when integrating teams from other organisations into our culture and practices whilst maintaining positivity and productivity
* Both detail-driven and strategically minded. Your role will involve taking ownership for both day-to-day quality of service delivery and the continual improvement and evolution of our operations strategy, and so the ability to adapt between both is critical
* Highly commercially literate, with keen attention on budget adherence and efficiency opportunities as well as performance KPI adherence
