And we want to pass that growth onto you. Reporting to the HR Change Manager your role is to help support our organisation through a period of technology transformation. This role will play a crucial role in necessary change activity to support the wider Screwfix team be ready, and well placed to transition smoothly, to adopt new processes, technology and ways of working enabling us to reach our desired business outcomes. Support development and implementation of a comprehensive change management strategy in association with Screwfix change colleagues, on relevant projects work collaboratively with the Systems Implementation (SI) Partner, Programme Lead and third-party Change Partner if one is in place. Collaborate with business-based colleagues, function leads and 3 rd parties to assess the impact of proposed changes on colleagues, culture, and business operations. Work effectively within the wider change team, ensuring and facilitating strong collaboration, leading on specific deliverables within the change plan or standalone projects as agreed to support successfully delivery. Ensure communication plans and materials to effectively convey the purpose, scope, and benefits of change initiatives to employees at all levels are in place. Provide expertise and insight, supporting a growing change management capability within the business to drive improvements and continued efficiencies. Provide coaching and support to people managers to help them effectively lead their teams through periods of change. Play an active role in the readiness, change and training activity that will be required to ensure Screwfix employees will be well placed to adopt the relevant changes. Working closely alongside relevant stakeholders, identify potential risks and obstacles to change implementation and support strategies to address them proactively. Monitor and evaluate the progress of change initiatives, gathering feedback from stakeholders and adjusting strategies as needed to ensure successful outcomes. Influence and foster a culture of adaptability within the organisation by promoting open communication, transparency, and continuous learning. Work with the L&D Programme lead to design sessions and workshops to equip employees with the skills and knowledge needed to adapt to change, new processes, systems, or ways of working. Serve as a liaison between employees and management, advocating for the needs and concerns of staff while aligning with the overall goals and objectives of the organisation. Stay informed about best practices in change management, leveraging these to effectively support change and continuous improvement. Ensure we are using data to validate our process and success, through change measurement activity, tracking of benefits and adoption metrics. Experience within change management roles, within Retail or other industries. Good understanding of change management methodologies, such as ADKAR. Understanding and experience of supporting change on technology-based implementations very advantageous. Good project management skills with proficiently in PM tools/software. Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Demonstrated ability to work alongside cross-functional teams and support multiple projects simultaneously. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex situations, identify key issues, and develop practical solutions. Solid leadership presence and the ability to inspire trust, confidence, and credibility among colleagues and team members. Certification in change management is very supportive.
