Celebrating achievements The Role: Sales & Purchasing Administrator Purpose of role: To support Sales Exec, Operations Manager and Sales & Procurement Director in day-to-day administration of the business. Responsibilities will include but are not exclusive to: Provide sales support to customers by telephone and email. Input and maintenance of sales quotations, pro forma invoices, and sales orders on the company's Sage system. Process customer POs, credit card payments and paid proforma invoices. Answer incoming calls to the office. Input and maintenance of supplier purchase orders on the company's Sage system. Coordinate with suppliers to track purchase orders, lead times and potential delays and update customers and sales orders as required. Support company social media channels. Support with product returns. Maintaining updated price lists from suppliers and for customers. Support finance team with administrative duties. Ad hoc support for daily business activities within the building; this could include sales order packing and despatch, stock check, goods-in check in, and other key tasks to support the business. The Person: Reporting: The successful candidate will report to our Sales Director, Dan Smith. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise: Proven experience in a sales, customer service or retail field. Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities. GCSE in Maths and English. Drive to develop role and take on further responsibility in time. Behaviors: Demonstration of strong work ethic. Professional work manner and excellent attention to detail. Experience using Microsoft Office suite of products and Sage Accounts software preferrable. Collaborative team player. Enthusiastic.
