Physiotherapist - Barrow-in-Furness
We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Physiotherapist to join our Occupational Health team in Barrow-in-Furness. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified individual to enhance their skills and experience in a supportive, dynamic team environment. This is a full-time role with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4.45pm, and an early finish on Fridays (8am - 12.30pm). There is potential for hybrid working, with one day a week working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide accurate clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for employees with musculoskeletal (MSK) injuries or disorders.
2. Classify presenting MSK disorders into appropriate work-related categories.
3. Produce reports for management post-assessment and at discharge, indicating the employee's fitness to work and any necessary adjustments to their role, whether short-term, long-term, or permanent.
4. Lead onsite exercise classes for rehabilitating employees with MSK injuries.
5. Communicate effectively with the wider Occupational Health team.
6. Conduct DSE (Display Screen Equipment) assessments and offer preventative advice.
7. Make recommendations regarding any necessary changes or equipment required after a DSE assessment.
8. Identify hazards within the workplace and assess the risk of these hazards causing or aggravating MSK ill health.
9. Collaborate with Safety, Health, and Environment advisors to conduct ergonomic risk assessments and identify employee risks.
10. Provide information to the OH team regarding any changes to work practices or the work environment that may impact employees' health.
11. Support the rehabilitation of staff with MSK disorders, whether work-related or not.
12. Maintain comprehensive assessment and treatment records.
13. Collect and analyze statistical information for report generation.
14. Contribute to or run health promotion events within the workplace.
Salary & Benefits:
1. Salary up to £42,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
