The ideal candidate will possess strong industry knowledge plus have existing contacts in the industry to generate quick sales and opportunities. Must have excellent relationship-building skills, and a strategic mindset to expand our market presence and revenue. Key Responsibilities: Market Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within our targeted sectors for technical textiles, plus develop new sectors that suit the capabilities of the business. Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue and growth targets. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, procurement teams, and industry stakeholders. Product Promotion: Work closely with R&D and production teams to align textile solutions with industry-specific needs and regulations. Tender & Contract Management: Identify and participate in government and private tenders, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements. Competitor Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to maintain a competitive advantage. Collaboration: Work with internal teams, including R&D, production, and marketing, to develop innovative and customised textile solutions. Reporting: Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to senior management. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in business development, sales, or key account management within the technical textiles industry. Proven track record in B2B sales and contract negotiation. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to travel frequently for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events. Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value of the client's solutions. Consistently meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. Are you the right person for the job?
