To support this, we’re hiring a Critical Path Manager who will play a pivotal role in improving efficiency and fostering collaboration across our business. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer with a dotted line into Operations, you’ll work across all functions to map and manage our end-to-end critical path, ensuring our seasonal go-to-market (GTM) process runs seamlessly.
This is a new role requiring a high level of autonomy, operational expertise, and exceptional stakeholder management skills. You’ll bring teams together, align efforts with our business objectives, and transform inefficiencies into streamlined processes.
The Responsibilities:
1. Critical Path Management
2. Map, manage, and improve the GTM process from concept to market
3. Develop and manage seasonal calendars, tracking key milestones and ensuring on-time delivery
4. Oversee the RACI framework, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities
5. Collaboration and Alignment
6. Lead cross-functional teams to align objectives and maintain momentum
7. Facilitate meetings, including setting agendas, tracking invitees, and ensuring actionable outcomes
8. Build strong internal and external networks to streamline communication and enhance collaboration
9. Process Improvement
10. Proactively identify inefficiencies, address roadblocks, and implement solutions to mitigate risks
11. Perform root cause analysis to support operational improvements
12. Provide regular reporting and progress updates to stakeholders
13. Workshop Leadership
14. Facilitate workshops to solve business problems, identify cross-functional dependencies, and manage risks
15. KPI Analysis and Governance
16. Monitor seasonal KPIs and develop recommendations to improve GTM processes and operational efficiencies
The Person:
1. You’re an experienced Project Manager or Stakeholder Manager, ideally with a background in footwear or apparel
2. You’ll be equally creative and analytical, capable of balancing the big picture with meticulous attention to detail
3. A natural communicator, you have the gravitas to influence stakeholders while fostering collaboration across teams
4. Proven experience in project management or stakeholder management
5. Understanding of product creation processes; footwear or apparel experience is a bonus
6. Strong calendar management skills, with proficiency in tools like Outlook
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration
8. Organised, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities
9. Ability to facilitate workshops and lead teams through complex processes
10. Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative and open-minded approach
11. Creativity & Analysis: A problem-solver who can think on their feet while managing complex timelines
12. Influence & Gravitas: Someone who can communicate difficult messages clearly and inspire teams to align with shared goals
