Description
1. Designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving mechanical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems.
2. Directing and coordinating manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements.
3. Developing manufacturing processes by studying product requirements and researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.
4. Conferring with equipment vendors to ensure satisfactory system performance.
5. Preparing product reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends.
6. Keeping equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services, following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures.
7. Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
8. Complying with codes and regulations in all work.
Profile
A successful 'Mechanical Engineer' should have:
1. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Proven expertise in mechanical systems design and analysis.
3. Proficiency in CAD software for designing and simulating mechanical systems.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new ideas.
5. Excellent communication skills to present designs and solutions to colleagues and clients.
6. A strong understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, and structural analysis.
Job Offer
