JOB PURPOSE:
The main role of this post is to offer groupwork support for young women with lived experience of mental health. The worker will plan, facilitate and evaluate group work with young women aged 16-18 and 18-25. This support will build on the trusting, long-term relationships young women develop at Getaway Girls. The role will also offer additional individual support.
Job Role / Responsibilities:
* To plan, facilitate and evaluate two weekly support groups for young women with lived experience of mental health.
* To undertake clinical group supervision.
* To develop opportunities for voice and influence for young women with lived experience.
* To support Getaway Girls staff in their understanding of and ability to work with young people with lived experience of mental health.
* To complete all monitoring and evaluation processes and keep clear records on Civi CRM systems.
* To attend line management and monthly team meetings.
* To undertake relevant training.
* To work with the CEO and Operations Manager towards organisational and personal development.
