Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Stylist to design and execute stunning décor concepts for weddings and events. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for aesthetics, a passion for event styling, and the ability to bring a client’s vision to life. You will be responsible for developing themes, selecting décor elements, and ensuring seamless execution of event setups.
Key Responsibilities:
• Consult with clients to understand their event vision, theme, budget, and space requirements.
• Design and develop unique decoration concepts, including colour schemes, floral arrangements, table settings, and venue layouts.
• Create sketches, mood boards, and visual presentations for client approval.
• Source and coordinate the purchase or rental of decorations, furniture, lighting, and other event styling materials.
• Oversee the setup and execution of decorations, ensuring timely and accurate installation.
• Collaborate with florists, furniture rental companies, lighting designers, and other vendors to create cohesive event aesthetics.
• Supervise and manage the decoration team, assigning tasks and ensuring smooth operations.
• Monitor budgets, ensuring costs align with client specifications.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during event setup and execution.
• Address client concerns or last-minute adjustments to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the event planning and execution process.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Knowledge of interior design, event styling, and visual aesthetics.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Photoshop, SketchUp, AutoCAD) is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work within budgets and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required.
