Senior Quantity Surveyor

Join our project delivery commercial team as a Senior Quantity Surveyor. You will work closely with the project delivery team and report to the Commercial Team Manager. Location is Glasgow on a Hybrid working basis.
What you’ll do:
1. Act as the go-to person for contractual and commercial matters on your projects.
2. Ensure all contract documents are in order, following best practices and Scottish Water procedures.
3. Manage contract administration throughout its life-cycle, including change management and payments.
4. Monitor costs, check supplier quotations, track budgets, and ensure project spend forecasts are accurate.
5. Build strong relationships with project teams, both inside and outside the company.
6. Support the development of team members by sharing knowledge and experience.
What you’ll bring:
1. Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a background in construction, infrastructure, private practice, or contracting.
2. A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Project Management.
3. Experience in managing projects with contract forms like NEC4 and contract administration.
4. Strong skills in managing information and communication.
5. IT literate on Microsoft programmes, with comfort in contract management, costing, and reporting systems.
6. A full driving license.

The not-so-small print:
This role will be a Grade 7 with a salary range of £41,000- £51,970, depending on your skills and experience. Performance-driven pay progression will allow you to move through the range to the maximum salary.
