The Bristol Royal Hospital for Children is excited to offer opportunities for Band 3 Senior Health Care Support Workers to join our dedicated team. This role is ideal for someone who is caring, compassionate and eager to make a positive impact on the lives of young patients.
Main duties of the job
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the clinical team with observations and treatments.
* Assisting with personal care and ensuring the well-being of patients.
* Providing emotional and practical support to children, young people, and their families.
* Helping maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
* Working closely with other healthcare professionals in a team.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Key Requirements to Apply:
* Maths qualification at GCSE A*-C / 4-9 or Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent.
* English qualification at GCSE A*-C / 4-9 or Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent.
* Level 3 qualification (or higher) in any subject.
* Acute caring experience in an acute healthcare or social care setting.
* Experience or a passion for working with children and young people.
If you do not have previous acute care experience, we offer a 12-week Band 2 to Band 3 Trainee Programme.
You will need to provide evidence of your educational qualification before your invitation to interview is confirmed.
