Main duties of the job
1. Duty Doctor/Tel Triage sessions/F2F sessions - shared based on number of sessions worked per week.
2. House call(s) shared daily - booked via the acute visiting service if meets criteria.
3. Path links - GP own generated ones and share of any unmatched/Path links for GP's on leave.
4. Prescription re-authorisations and medication reviews - These will be directed when covering a duty doctor session via practice pharmacists/medicines management team or reception staff.
5. Clinical paperwork - equal share to all GP's on the day.
6. Completion of tasks sent directly to GP on clinical computer system.
7. Emails urgent and non-urgent - when covering duty doctor session.
8. Teaching medical students.
9. Signing of cremation papers - cheques payable to the Practice.
10. Actively contribute to QOF and other practice incentives.
11. Attend weekly GP clinical meetings and Educational Events organised by the practice.
12. Attend professional training events and complete mandatory training as per practice training protocol. i.e. safeguarding, Governance, CPR.

* Fully qualified General Practitioner.
* Experience using EMIS Web (our main clinical system)
