The Cromwell Hospital is a major private hospital in West London providing outpatient and inpatient services. It has 180 beds, 4 suites, 6 theatres, full intensive care facilities, paediatrics, diagnostic services, physiotherapy, a dedicated day surgery unit, and private GP services.
The pharmacy service is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 8 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm.
We are seeking a Bank Oncology Pharmacist to provide a first-class clinical pharmacy service to our Oncology department and Chemotherapy Day Unit at Cromwell Hospital.

You’ll make this happen by:
* Providing a comprehensive, patient-centred clinical pharmacy service to oncology and chemotherapy day unit patients.
* Ensuring medicines optimisation: safe, appropriate, accurate, and cost-effective services.
* Playing an essential role in medicines management, ensuring timely and professional medication delivery with all necessary clinical information.
The role offers varied challenges daily.
Applicants should have a clinical diploma or equivalent, recent experience with UK Aseptic Services, and working within oncology and chemotherapy environments.
What you'll do:
* Deliver a patient-centred clinical pharmacy service for oncology and chemotherapy patients.
* Act as a specialist oncology pharmacist, providing ward-based clinical services.
* Manage the oncology electronic prescribing system and new medicine introductions.
* Communicate medicines management information to clinical colleagues, nurses, prescribers, carers, and patients.
* Participate in oncology MDTs and ward rounds.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
* Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (essential)
* Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (essential)
* Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy (essential)
* Experience with SACT as a cancer pharmacist (essential)
* Recent UK aseptic, oncology, and chemotherapy services experience (essential)
* Broad clinical pharmacy background including ward work
* Experience in developing pharmacy services
* Knowledge of GMP and QA standards
