Job Description
Team
You will work as part of the Treasury Technology team for Jefferies International. The team provides solutions and support for cash and liquidity management, covering FX, Fixed Income, and Equities, including financing (Repo and Stock Lending).
Role
Working closely with Treasury to develop and maintain applications, providing application support where required. Working with global business and technology teams while adhering to the firm's SDLC policy. You will need the ability to work in a team of skilled all-round developers, developing and supporting critical systems, along with the ability to contribute to technical design decisions.
Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities are:
* Working closely with the IT and business teams to gather, analyze, document, and implement requirements.
* Develop and support treasury technology applications used for FX order processing, liquidity, forecasting, and cash flow operations.
* Treasury Technology applications infrastructure includes:
o TSB - an in-house build scheduling and ETL tool running as Windows services.
o ASP.NET Web Services provide the application-tier level.
o Web Front End built using Angular.
o SQL Server backend.
* Writing performant and maintainable code.
* Following the team's SDLC policy, using CI tools such as JIRA, BitBucket (GIT), Bamboo, and Artifactory.
Requirements:
The following skills and experience are required for this role:
* Advanced level skills in C# and ASP.NET.
* Good knowledge of either Angular or JavaScript.
* Good knowledge of SQL Server including DML, DDL, and database programming.
* Knowledge and experience of ETL data processing.
* AWS experience would be advantageous but not essential; however, the ability and willingness to learn is expected.
* Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with a logical approach.
* A self-starter, able to work collaboratively.
