Contract: Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week over 5 days)
Salary: £47,702 - £65,000 + One-off Recruitment & Retention Allowance of £2,500*

What You'll Be Doing
* Conducting consultations, diagnostics, surgeries, and inpatient care.
* Overseeing your clinical cases from start to finish.
* Working with advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment in a supportive environment.
* Providing compassionate care and support to clients seeking assistance for their pets.
* Participating in continuing professional development and clinical discussions.
* Helping train and integrate volunteers, new graduates, and students.
* Providing emergency care as needed.
* Conducting phone and video consultations when required.

With a high ratio of veterinary nurses to vet surgeons, a team of talented and capable animal care assistants, and a supportive management team, you’ll have the guidance and resources you need to focus on delivering the best care to your patients.

Our rota includes out-of-hours shifts followed by blocks of time off in lieu, helping you achieve a fulfilling work-life balance.
State-of-the-Art Facilities: Our purpose-built hospital features:
* A large reception and waiting room with a separate area for cats
* Six consultation rooms
* One dedicated quiet room for euthanasias
* Two operating suites
* A minor procedures room
* Extensive inpatient facilities, including walking kennels for large dogs, a separate room for cats, a separate room for small animals and large isolation kennels
We are equipped with advanced on-site veterinary technology, including digital X-ray, dental X-ray, endoscopy, ECG, and ultrasound machines, along with laboratory testing capabilities. We are proud to be a Silver-accredited feline-friendly, dog-friendly, and rabbit-friendly practice.

*For Veterinary Surgeons joining us at our Grimsby Animal Hospital, we provide a one-off £2,500 Recruitment & Retention Allowance—£1,250 included in your first monthly salary payment and £1,250 upon successful completion of probation.
Location: Our Grimsby hospital is ideally located near the picturesque Lincolnshire Wolds and the award-winning Cleethorpes Beach. Nearby towns and cities like Lincoln, Hull, Doncaster, and Sheffield are just over an hour away by car or train, offering affordable housing and essential amenities. About You
* Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
* Demonstrable small animal or mixed practice experience.
* Comfortable with sole charge responsibilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* UK driving licence (desirable).
* Existing right to work in the UK.
