Our Client:
We are excited to be working with a well-established and reputable law firm based in Birkenhead that is currently looking to expand their Residential Conveyancing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 3 years PQE (or 5 years of solid case-handling experience) to join a supportive and dynamic practice. Role Overview:
As a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer, you will manage your own caseload of residential property transactions from inception to completion. You will be responsible for guiding clients through the buying and selling process, providing clear and professional advice, and ensuring that all legal processes run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfer of equity.
* Provide clear legal advice to clients and ensure they understand the conveyancing process.
* Deal with all aspects of the transaction, from initial instruction to post-completion, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties professionally and efficiently.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
* Manage client relationships, ensuring excellent service and satisfaction throughout the process.
* Keep abreast of changes in residential conveyancing law and practice.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years PQE as a Solicitor or 5 years’ experience handling residential conveyancing cases.
* Strong knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures.
* Ability to manage a caseload independently and work with minimal supervision.
* Excellent client care and communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality work.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and case management.
* A team player who is happy to collaborate and support colleagues when required.
Desirable:
* Experience with the use of case management software.
* Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g., CLC for Licensed Conveyancers).
