Your role within this is to act as the Senior Case Manager for a number of Recovery Officers with a total case load of up to 108 recovering personnel. Person specification The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination and direct case-management of all recovering personnel within the unit. They need to be understanding of each soldier’s case and circumstances yet able to robustly apply policy when required. The coordination of cases requires a great deal of cooperation across internal and external departments and as such the successful candidate will be a highly effective communicator able to liaise at all levels. Information recording and data protection are of the utmost importance and therefore vigilance, an eye for detail are essential skills. A thorough understanding of the Caldicott Principles and Data Protection principles is also essential. The Senior Case Manager and Officer Commanding of each company work closely together to progress each recovery plan. The Senior Case Manager must be able to collaborate with the team and be an effective decision maker. The ideal candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to run their own workload, prioritising and reassessing as tasks received. You will be encouraged to provide an excellent level of service and support, with the highest level of accuracy. You must be prepared to work flexibly in order to ensure that all military and civilian personnel receive the best possible service.
