Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) who is a seasoned sales professional responsible for identifying and qualifying high-value leads, leading outbound prospecting efforts, utilising their expertise in sales methodologies to effectively engage potential customers and guide them towards the appropriate products or services, often contributing to sales strategy development within the team.
Key Responsibilities of a Senior BDR
1. Advanced Lead Generation: Actively prospect potential customers through various channels like cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn, focusing on high-quality leads that align with the ideal customer profile.
2. Lead Qualification: Qualify leads by understanding their prospect needs, budget, decision-making authority, and timeline to ensure they are sales-ready opportunities.
3. Sales Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of sales strategies, including campaign planning, lead generation tactics, and outreach sequences.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns and generate qualified leads.
5. Industry Knowledge: 1-3 years in a similar BDR/SDR role, related sales positions.
6. Experience of working within a SaaS company.
7. Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in generating leads, meeting or exceeding KPIs, and helping drive revenue growth.
8. CRM and Sales Tools: Proficiency in CRM software and experience with prospecting tools (Sales Navigator, Outreach.io, etc.).
9. Industry: Appreciation of Digital/eCommerce preferred.
10. Experience and confidence in speaking with senior executives in some of the UK’s largest organisations.
11. Deep understanding of crafting and sending multi-touch point email and LinkedIn campaigns.
12. Experience of prospecting at industry events and networking in the industry ecosystem.
13. Considerable sales acumen and a clear passion for building a career in sales.
14. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
15. Additional certifications in sales methodologies are a plus.
16. You will be required to work 3 days per week in the London office.
17. Significant base salary plus commission.
