My Four Wheels is one of the most trusted and fastest growing driving schools in the UK, currently employing 200 driving instructors and training hundreds more.
There is a record number of learner drivers needing instruction due to test centre backlogs from COVID-19. In the last 12 months, our Driving Instructors' hourly rates have increased by an average of £3 due to high demand.
Over 70% of our Driving Instructors have waiting lists, some as long as 6 months. There has never been a better time to become a driving instructor.
Are you reliable, punctual, patient, and do you have good customer service skills? Do you enjoy working with new people? If you answered yes to all the above, then this could be the right career choice for you.
Anyone can become a Driving Instructor. We have recently recruited from various industries including:
1. Driving industry (HGV driver, delivery driver, van driver, LGV driver, bus driver)
2. Finance industry (finance manager, accountant, analyst, supervisor, director)
3. IT industry (IT support, cyber security, web designer, engineer, web developer)
4. Health industry (care assistant, care manager, care trainer, doctors, nurses)
5. Education industry (teacher, teaching assistant, admin officer, personal assistant, lecturer)
- Full training is provided and conducted as locally as possible.
- Our pass rates are above the industry average, and we refund all your training fees when you work with us.
To apply to become a Driving Instructor, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Have held a full UK driving licence (or approved foreign licence) for at least 2.5 years
2. Have not been banned from driving in the last 4 years
3. Have no more than 6 points on your licence
