Swanstaff Ltd are currently looking for recruitment consultants to join our expanding team. We currently have positions within our office warm desk running perms across the following sectors: Industrial, driving, and healthcare sectors with lots of potential.
You must have worked within a sales role in recruitment for a minimum of 2 years, have an outstanding sales ledger, and be able to handle the pressure of working with the ever-changing recruitment cycle. You should have a proven track record of targets hit.
General Responsibilities
1. Proactively take ownership in developing your own knowledge to understand the context of the work of the company and associated risks, challenges, and priorities.
2. Maintain strict confidentiality of information relating to staff and any other sensitive information.
3. Communicate information effectively using the correct channels.
4. Ensure familiarisation and adherence to Swanstaff Recruitment’s policies and procedures at all times.
5. Meet obligations in respect of Health and Safety, primarily not putting yourself and others at risk of harm.
6. Carry out responsibilities effectively, accurately, promptly, and in a well-organised way.
7. Observe and work to the Swanstaff Core Values.
8. Dispose of confidential paperwork appropriately using secure methods.
Principal Duties
1. Develop and maintain long-standing and strategic relationships with Clients and Candidates throughout the selected sector, offering a consultative recruitment solution suited to their needs.
2. Combine demonstrable experience of implementing the recruitment process, effectively matching suitable candidates for suitable vacancies/clients through qualification and referencing while also gaining a detailed understanding of the sector, further developing Swanstaff’s market presence.
3. Aim to maximize opportunity within your given market to hit/exceed given targets for yourself and team.
4. Responsible for development and support of the team while demonstrating the values and service of the Swanstaff brand.
Sales/Business Generation Activity
1. Actively develop knowledge of the market to enable you to generate business and business pipeline through canvass calling, use of marketing, networking, and lead generation.
2. Write and place professional and effective job advertisements to attract candidates.
3. Use marketing tools to generate business and source candidates.
4. Source, develop, and manage candidate relationships within chosen competency.
5. Qualify candidate suitability for current or future vacancies/clients, through questioning and referencing, following best practice.
6. Qualify client suitability for current or future vacancies/relationships, through questioning and gaining the essential commitment to effectively manage the recruitment process with all parties' needs in mind.
7. Match and deliver candidates to job vacancies to Swanstaff’s delivery targets.
8. Maintain and develop current client relationships to ensure that they receive the best service possible and to maximize business opportunity.
9. Work with colleagues to ensure the maximum opportunity to generate revenue is achieved.
10. Be able to use in-house IT systems to generate candidates, clients, and marketing material to a professional standard, in line with our Quality management standards.
11. Strive to achieve maximum revenue for Swanstaff through effective objection handling and negotiation in line with company policy.
12. Manage the recruitment process from start to finish with both Client and Candidate.
13. Deal with client/candidate queries and take ownership to follow up and ensure they are dealt with efficiently.
14. Manage placed candidates' contracts and maintain client relationships with active contractors and placements.
15. Provide effective out-of-hours support to clients and candidates, on a Rota basis with other branch staff.
Team Development
1. Be a positive role model in all aspects of the job.
2. Mentor and support the team on a general basis as well as direct reports.
3. Positively motivate, direct, and develop the Shift Coordinator.
4. Take ownership, contribute and influence team targets.
5. Manage your own Career Progression Plan.
Administrative & General
1. Ensure records are kept in line with and adhere to the recruitment legislation and encourage others to do so.
2. Manage Driving & Industrial Shift Coordinator to work with the Compliance Team to ensure that all paperwork/system work is updated regarding candidates' eligibility to work, training, DBSs, permits, etc.
3. Have a sound understanding of Swanstaff Consultants contracts, policies, procedures, and terms and conditions.
4. Role-model, demonstrate, and work to Swanstaff Consultants values and standards including terms and conditions and procedures, in line with REC guidelines.
5. Prioritize workload and self-manage to ensure working on productive activities to achieve maximum revenue at all times.
6. Take accountability for your own and desk target and commission fulfillment.
7. Any duties as required.
