Role: Project Support Manager Contract: 3 Months Salary: Up to £30,420 per annum (DOE) Location: Cardiff - 2/3 days WFH Are you passionate about supporting key transformation projects in the healthcare sector? You will support management in a dynamic function to deliver key developments within an evolving framework. The role The Project Support Manager will autonomously manage elements of a specific projects as delegated and will also ensure that standard project management methodologies are applied to successfully deliver projects will provide project support to the team developing the refreshed allied health professional Framework action plan. Key responsibilities Project Coordination & Delivery: Monitor project progress, identify risks, and recommend solutions to ensure timely completion. Plan and deliver specific project elements, collaborating with stakeholders across multiple teams. Employ project control methods for effective planning, scheduling, and task tracking. Risk Management & Analysis: Proactively identify, assess, and monitor project risks, escalating concerns and proposing mitigation strategies. Analyze data, interpret trends, and develop detailed reports to support project decision-making. Communication & Stakeholder Management: Facilitate communication and collaboration between project teams and stakeholders. Organize meetings, manage diaries, and prepare presentations to effectively convey project information. Policy & Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to optimize project operations. Financial & Resource Management: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure resources are used efficiently. IT Systems & Data Analysis: Utilize project management software and data analysis tools to track progress, identify trends, and generate insightful reports. Develop and maintain project databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility. What we're looking for: Educated to Degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent experience Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects. Experience of administering projects and programmes. Developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels Able to plan and prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines and deal effectively with conflicting priorities. Proficient in use of standard IT packages e.g. Microsoft Office with the ability to master new applications.
