About the Role
As Assistant Head of Department, you will support the Head of Department in leading and managing the Electrical Installations curriculum. Your focus will be on maintaining high standards in teaching, learning, and assessment to ensure students achieve their full potential.
The Electrical Installations department includes:
* Electrical Installations courses.
* Installation and Maintenance Electrician Apprenticeship standards.
You’ll play a pivotal role in curriculum development, staff management, and ensuring quality standards across the board. Flexibility to travel between campuses is required.
What We’re Looking For
* A passionate and inspiring leader with experience in teaching Electrical Installations or related areas .
* Strong knowledge of FE standards and relevant industry skills.
* A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, DET).
* Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
