We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer based at our Ramsey site, to support the engineering team in providing all production maintenance activity, responding to equipment and machine breakdowns in a timely manner. Ensure the maintenance of equipment and machinery on site. Key responsibilities for our Multi-Skilled Engineer: Provide a supportive service to the factory to minimise disruption downtime caused by breakdowns. Carry out all such work required in line with the planned preventative maintenance schedule to ensure that all equipment and machinery is adequately maintained. Attend machinery breakdowns to carry out the necessary electrical and/or mechanical diagnostic checks. Attend tasks in an appropriate order to keep production downtime to a minimum. Work in line with the standard working procedures to ensure the highest quality output. Actively suggest improvements to systems and procedures to continually strive to improve the way the department and factory operate, including highlighting safety, efficiency, and reliability where possible. Complete work records daily to support with the collation of data for machine downtime and effectiveness. Document which parts are utilized on the job to ensure a maintained stock store. You will be expected to perform such additional activities as your manager may reasonably request. Candidate requirements: Qualified electrical and / or mechanical engineer Experience of working in a production environment, preferably within the food industry.
