Audit & Accounts Semi Senior – Up to £38k
We are a well-established Accountancy Practice based in the local area, who are looking for a talented Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage their workload & time effectively and be able to show a good amount of technical knowledge.
Responsibilities of the Audit & Accounts Semi Senior will include:
* Attending and assisting with audits including that of planning and field work and stock take
* Bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns
* Management accounts preparation
* Preparation of forecasts
* Year-end statutory accounts preparation in CaseWare
* Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns for individuals and companies
* Attending and assisting with audits including that of planning and field work and stock take
* Payroll preparation for weekly and monthly payrolls
* Establishing rapport and trust with clients
* Initiate billing process and provide analysis and summaries, with explanations for variances.
Requirements of the Audit & Accounts Semi Senior role:
* Must have at least 2-3 years of experience within an Accountancy Practice
* Ideally be studying either ACCA/ACA
* Good communication skills
* Excellent eye for detail
* Previous experience dealing with Audit.
