Job Summary:
* To lead on the development and delivery of capital projects, mainly the delivery of new council homes.
* To lead on the drafting of reports to Cabinet and any other reports as necessary.
* To maintain excellent records using appropriate project management techniques (risk registers, highlight reports, lessons learnt etc).
* Co-ordinate various technical officers to ensure appropriate technical and professional input into project development and delivery.
* To review any legal, financial, contractual, or other agreements to ensure they are adhered to and that any necessary reporting and/or monitoring is undertaken.
Essential Requirements:
* Educated to degree level preferably in a subject related to the role.
* Experience of project managing the development and delivery of capital projects.
* Knowledge of current public-sector funding models.
* Ability to manage complex workloads and prioritise where necessary.
* Effective communicator and a strong team player, with the ability to motivate others.
Hours: 37 hours
