We partner with our customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their portfolio of assets.
DEI Program Manager – Global Role - ideally suited to colleagues in the UK or similar timezones
Benefits: Flexible Working, fully Remote or Hybrid Working Model, Pension, Extra Holiday Purchase Scheme, & Many More.
Role Context:
Delivering a more sustainable world demands new skills, increased collaboration, and super-charged innovation. We need to rethink and refine how we attract, retain, and include people who bring great ideas, fresh perspectives, and the skills we need to be ready for tomorrow. This is what we mean by focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion. And to succeed at DEI, we need to apply the same level of rigour as we would to any important strategic business issue.
This is where you, as a highly skilled programme and change manager come in.
As the DEI Program Manager, in the global DEI team, you will be responsible for fostering strategic relationships, supporting program initiatives, and collaborating across Worley to deliver on the DEI strategy.
You'll be:
* A key member of a global team working on global initiatives and CEO/GE priorities, such as progress towards the critical group Women in Leadership targets.
* Coordinate a holistic view of all DEI initiatives, providing the DEI team with input and feedback into projects to ensure successful delivery.
* Lead and manage DEI projects from initiation to completion, ensuring project goals, timelines, and budgets are delivered.
* Support Senior Director of DEI with annual budget management and invoice processing.
* Facilitate and support effective communication across key stakeholders regarding DEI initiatives and activities.
* Manage a portfolio of key stakeholders including our Group Executive, their leadership teams, the GE’s Human Rights and DEI Council, the People team, and our People Network Groups – owning relationships and aligning delivery with business priorities.
* Manage and facilitate the People Network Group Forum ensuring actions, risks, and escalations are prioritised and delegated to the appropriate person/team and tracked to completion.
* Gather and analyse DEI related data for insight into the progress towards strategic goals.
You'll have:
* Good knowledge of the People Team and understanding of Worley’s systems and tools.
* Knowledge of key practices and procedures around People, Internal Communications, and Worley Digital.
* Proven experience in managing complex projects, including project planning, execution, and evaluation.
* Ability to manage change throughout all levels of the business ensuring key stakeholders are informed at the right time and with the right information.
* Strong business acumen and ability to align DEI initiatives with business goals.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet project deadlines, and maintain strong attention to detail.
* Proficient with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Ability to analyse and understand data to drive decisions, develop insights, tell stories, and measure impact.
* A desire to learn, be curious, and embrace challenges with a growth mindset - specific knowledge of DEI is NOT necessary.
Why you should apply:
* You are interested in making a real difference to Worley – by using your skills, knowledge, and expertise to support our director to professionalise and modernise our approach to DEI.
* You are looking for an opportunity to manage a global programme that is a strategic priority for our CEO, GE, and Worley’s board.
* You can see the benefits of working directly with our GE and leaders and teams across the business, to support them in realising our DEI ambitions, whilst growing your own networks.
* You are interested in being part of a team that uses cutting-edge research and practices such as behavioural science to drive change.
* You are looking for career development and an opportunity to learn from colleagues in our highly experienced and motivated DEI team.
* You want to work flexibly and would appreciate the benefits to Worley and yourself of joining a team who understand the importance of a great work/life balance.
