HR & HSE Administrator (6-month FTC in the first instance)

THE ROLE
We are looking for an awesome administrator to support the HR and HSE Managers. You will perform a variety of tasks to support the human resources and health and safety functions within the organisation. You need the ability to be a self-starter, complete your work packages and to contribute to a proactive people and safety culture within our business.
Typical tasks would include: being a point of contact for HR and HSE queries, maintaining employee and HSE records, assisting with the recruitment and onboarding process, as well as managing HR and HSE documentation. Additionally, supporting the team with data analysis and ensuring compliance and regulatory adherence to employment and HSE laws, company policies, and safety protocols. This role plays a crucial part in safeguarding employee well-being and environmental sustainability.
THE TEAM
You will report directly to the HR and HSE Managers, while supporting other leaders and managers across the business with all their HR/HSE needs.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Superb written English with excellent copy writing ability
2. Confidence and strong working knowledge across common computer packages [MS, Google Suite among others]
3. Previous administration experience
4. An independent working style and self-motivated
5. Fast, accurate and diligent note taking (attention to detail)
6. An understanding of recruitment and onboarding processes
7. An understanding of risk management and compliance
8. A committed approach to continuous improvement
9. The ability to maintain confidentiality
10. The capability to communicate to all levels of the business
11. Own transport required to travel between both office sites.
LOCATION
Full-time (37.5hrs per week on a 6 month contract initially, with a view to potential to permanency)
