A fast-growing organisation is seeking an Insight Analyst to drive data-backed decision-making and optimise marketing performance. Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, this role is pivotal in analysing key marketing metrics, extracting actionable insights, and refining reporting tools that influence strategic business decisions.
This is a hands-on, high-impact position, responsible for leading marketing analytics, building advanced performance reports, and shaping data-driven strategies. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, using data storytelling and visualisation to drive better marketing and business outcomes.
Location: Guildford
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum (Dependant on Experience)
Key Responsibilities
* Marketing Performance Analysis – Lead data analysis across performance marketing channels, identifying trends and optimising spend.
* KPI Tracking & Reporting – Develop and maintain real-time dashboards to track marketing and trading performance, ensuring clarity in investor discussions.
* Insights & Strategy – Deliver quick-turnaround actionable insights that inform short-term execution and long-term growth strategy.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with marketing, product, and senior leadership to refine strategies and define key success metrics.
* Data Storytelling – Use Power BI, Sigma, and other visualisation tools to translate complex datasets into clear, compelling insights.
* Process Innovation – Continuously improve analytics methodologies, attribution models, and reporting tools to stay ahead of industry trends.
Who They’re Looking For
* Proven experience in marketing analytics, with expertise in Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads (experience in ATL/BTL channels is a plus).
* Deep understanding of attribution models, including Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) and Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM).
* Hands-on experience with incrementality testing, using data-driven experiments to optimise marketing performance.
* Strong commercial mindset, able to assess performance drivers and translate data into actionable strategies.
* Advanced Excel proficiency, with SQL knowledge highly preferred.
* Strong data visualisation skills, with experience using Power BI, Sigma, or similar tools.
* Proven ability to build reporting frameworks that empower better decision-making across teams.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with senior leadership.
