Asbestos Consultants Europe Ltd (ACE) is a leading provider of specialist advice and services for all asbestos-related matters in the public and private sectors. With ongoing investment and company expansion, we’re thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity to expand our team of Health and Safety Professionals.
We are looking to expand our existing team with the appointment of an experienced Health & Safety Trainer on a freelance, ad hoc basis. This role is ideal for an accredited Asbestos Trainer who can deliver high-quality, industry-relevant training. Based in the Southeast region, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide training on behalf of ACE.
About the Role
As a Freelance Asbestos Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering a range of asbestos-related training courses to professionals within the industry. Training may include but is not limited to:
Asbestos Awareness (UKATA / IATP Approved)
If you hold P403/P404 (Air Monitoring & Clearance) as well as P402 (Surveying) qualifications, there is also an opportunity to undertake site-based work as an Analyst or Surveyor.
About You
We are looking for an individual with the following qualifications, experience, and skills:
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
P402
Experienced H&S Trainer, confident in delivering asbestos-related courses in a professional and engaging manner
UKATA Teaching Certificate (or equivalent training qualification)
Experience in training material development, including presentations & PowerPoint creation
Strong knowledge of HSE asbestos regulations, legislation, and best practices
Desirable Qualifications
P403/P404 (Air Monitoring & Clearance Testing) – allows for additional work as an Analyst
CITB Site Safety Plus Approved Tutor Certificate
Experience conducting Asbestos Surveys or Air Monitoring
Personal Attributes:
Confident and engaging trainer with excellent presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills, able to engage with both workforce and management
Excellent time management, able to work independently and manage multiple commitments
Flexible approach to work, with the ability to travel across the Southeast region
