Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse/Logistics Supervisor to join a well-established and respected company known for its high standards in storage and distribution.
In this role, you will take ownership of inbound operations, ensuring seamless scheduling and administration of deliveries across UK warehouses and global imports.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring on time, in full (OTIF) deliveries, and leading a team of six Goods In personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
Inbound Management
* Plan and coordinate inbound deliveries from UK warehouses and customer-arranged imports (EU & non-EU).
* Prioritize high-value and private deliveries while mitigating risks in line with business standards.
* Communicate daily delivery schedules and escalate late arrivals or no-shows.
* Troubleshoot inbound issues, including CDS documentation and missing ARCs.
* Ensure inbound volumes align with business throughput capacity.
* Maintain trade booking summaries and ensure compliance with delivery terms.
* Track, report, and log problematic deliveries weekly.
* Manage delivery paperwork, confirming receipts with hauliers and customers.
* Report damages within 24 hours of receipt.
* Coordinate invoicing for private customers with the Customer Services team.
* Support the Goods In team in ensuring accurate system updates for receipts.
Customs Management
* Ensure all inbound deliveries include the necessary CDS documents and ARCs.
* Manage haulier relationships to ensure compliance with customs regulations.
* Oversee ARC signoffs and escalate queries when required.
* Address customs-related issues in coordination with the Operational Risk Manager.
Experience & Skills Required:
* Previous experience supervising or leading a small team in a logistics environment.
* Strong background in supply chain and logistics, particularly in EU and non-EU imports.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to remain professional in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to analyze and manipulate data.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* European language skills (especially French) are beneficial.
