A part-time Band 7 Enhanced Practice Sonographer vacancy has opened within our ultrasound services across West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals Trust.
This role will be based at St Albans City Hospital and Hemel Hempstead Hospital, with the possibility of occasional cover at Watford General Hospital or our community-based clinic in Elstree.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient delivery of ultrasound services.
The duties and responsibilities of the post holder include:
• To contribute to the operational duties of the ultrasound departments services across West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals Trust. Including maternity, general, inpatients and acute referrals.
• To be an effective member of the Ultrasound team, promoting the trust values through our workforce.
• Provide a high standard of Sonographer/ultrasound services to radiologists and patients.
• Complete ultrasound examinations to a high standard.
• Supervision of junior staff, international recruits and students through induction and training programmes.
