You'll be joining a dedicated team of practitioners who are passionate about ensuring each of their pupils receives an excellent education. Your new role In your new job as a Teaching Assistant with Hays, you'll work with like-minded practitioners to support pupils with additional needs, including ASD, ADHD and dyslexia who require specialist support outside mainstream education. Working closely with a teacher, and in small groups with pupils, you will support pupils studying English, Maths and Science at GCSE Level and Functional Skills Entry Level 3 and Functional Skills Level 1. What you need to succeed To succeed in your new job, you'll have a minimum of 1 years' experience working with SEND pupils in an educational setting and you'll have excellent behaviour management and de-escalation skills. You're someone who thrives in challenging environments and you enjoy adapting to new situations. You'll have supported with pupils with ASD, ADHD, anxiety and dyslexia. Most importantly, you'll be confident stepping into a new school and ready to support pupils with a range of needs.
