We are excited to be launching our very own Brand New exclusive coffee concept District Market Coffee with its local links to Sheffield at the Northern General Hospital. The standalone store will sell local brands of coffee as well as food, meeting the essential needs of the patients, visitors, and staff working at the hospital.
District Market Coffee offers over 40 beverage options that are hot, cold, and iced, as well as offering Delice de France fresh baked products in store, patisserie items, hot breakfast, and lunch on the go. District Market Coffee prides itself on supporting the local community and giving back to its customers with a wealth of offers, loyalty, and NHS discounts.
As a Barista at District Market Coffee, you’ll provide exceptional customer service as part of a team to deliver our fantastic store standards.
Contract Type: Permanent
Working hours: 2, 5-hour mornings a week on a flexible rota, with a 15-minute unpaid break.
What being a Barista is all about:
* Interact with customers to understand their favourite food and beverage preferences so they get the best experience on every visit.
* Deliver ‘best in town’ standards through presentation standards and availability.
* Have great product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services to your customers.
* Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and make recommendations.
* Work as part of a winning team: pulling together with other members in the team to adapt to what can be a changing fast-paced environment.

* A passion for providing a great customer experience by crafting great coffee with your passion and energy for that perfect blend.
* Good communication and listening skills to understand customers' needs.
* Great organization skills plus strong attention to detail.
* Able to work as part of a team, supporting your colleagues and helping to deliver the daily activities.
