About the Role: To ensure the effective day-to-day running of the HR office, you will be the first point of contact for managers, providing a comprehensive and professional service to all internal customers and the HR Team. As an HR Advisor, you will deliver an efficient and effective HR service to both internal and external stakeholders, providing a comprehensive and professional service on all people-related issues, in line with our policies, processes, and legal requirements. Key Responsibilities: Support managers in low-level formal meetings and hearings Compile investigatory and disciplinary letters and packs for various employee relations and absence-related meetings Take notes during meetings and provide advice where appropriate Provide guidance on maternity, paternity, and other family policies Advise managers on absence policies and procedures Take ownership of Absence Review Meetings and ensure communication with HR colleagues and managers Run reports and track KPIs (e.g., absence, turnover, annual leave, 60-hour breaches) and communicate with the HR team and managers Support HR-related projects Maintain spreadsheets and trackers, including the company property database Carry out exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends Support line managers with interviews for various vacancies Assist with new starter on-boarding processes, ensuring paperwork is received and accurate Support the Training Team as needed What You’ll Need to Be Successful: Essential A self-starter able to work on own initiative and also collaboratively with the HR team. Having worked within a similar, fast paced role with employee relations experience. IT literate. Good working knowledge of employment law. Candidates should be reliable, with excellent communication skills and have the ability to multi task. Excellent administrative/organisational skills Focused on continual improvemen Desirable A CIPD qualification is not essential but would be desirable however up to date employment law knowledge is key.
