Take a lead role in the design and development of data systems that enable the teams to collect, analyse/audit and report on a range of data relevant to effective and efficient service delivery To liaise with MHST colleagues to set up and manage effective systems for team diaries/clinics and capacity analysis. This will include being a key contact point for the service both internally and externally. Present information to colleagues across the service and directorate, analyse the data, including trends, pressures and risks, identifying areas for improvement to patient flows To be the first point of contact for the CAMHS Mental Health in Schools Team with regard to information systems. Deal with enquiries in a proactive manner and initiate action for approval of the line manager, Team Managers or Operational Manager. This will include liaising with the Business Office, Informatics and outside organisations. To develop systems for appointments, managing waits and tracking patient journeys through the service, making best use of new technology Organise and co-ordinate meetings to support the chair Prepare and distribute papers, reports, agendas, arrange meetings, take minutes, and take follow up action as necessary. Preparation of reports, letters, e-mails and presentations. Manage incoming and outgoing mail and email, take appropriate action, identifying any action required, using own initiative when assessing priorities. Manage and maintain effective office filing and data systems. Maintain and update efficient use of relevant IT systems, including PowerPoint, Excel, teleconferencing facilities, GroupWise calendars and database. Ensure that all correspondence is dealt with in the corporate style. Effectively manage and prioritise electronic calendar, using own initiative and negotiation skills. Work as part of the wider clinical support team, liaising with colleagues in a friendly and efficient manner, answering telephones and providing cover for colleagues as directed by the management team. Support service users and families/carers with outcome questionnaires Maintain confidentiality at all times and abide by the Data Protection Act. Be familiar with the Trusts Policies and Procedures, adhering strictly to all Health and Safety Guidelines. Such other duties as may be reasonably expected consistent with the role and status of the position.
