We are seeking Special Needs Teaching Assistants (SENTAs) to work in SEMH schools across London. This is an incredible opportunity to support children and young people who require specialist care and guidance to thrive in an educational setting.
About the Role:
* Supporting students with SEMH needs, helping them engage in learning and develop social skills.
* Assisting the class teacher in managing behaviour and creating a safe, inclusive environment.
* Providing 1:1 or small-group support tailored to individual needs.
* Encouraging students to build confidence, resilience, and independence.
* Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to implement personalised strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs (school, care, youth work, or similar settings).
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
* A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach.
* The ability to build positive relationships with students and help them feel safe and supported.
* A commitment to making a lasting impact on young lives.
