Role and Responsibilities:
* Receive briefing from the Lead Operative prior to the commencement of each contract
* Develop a clear understanding of the hazards involved with and safe method to be employed for each contract, prior to leaving the yard
* Organisation and control of the safe loading and securing of all equipment onto TMIV's in accordance with appropriate regulations prior to transporting to or from site
* All procedures are completed in accordance with Company Policy, i.e. vehicle defect sheets, installation checklist etc
* All Operatives must have the correct P.P.E. and any other equipment for the activity to be completed
* Effective liaison with clients on-site to promote a positive company image in all circumstances
* Install, maintain and remove all TM required as per briefing given by Lead Operative/Contracts Department/Clients
* Any changes to pre-planned activities are implemented, recorded and communicated to the operations department at the earliest opportunity when required
* Ensure all paperwork is up to date, signed by the relevant people and returned to the contracts department upon completion of the contract.
* Inexperienced operatives are given suitable supervision and instruction on-site to assist in the development of their skills
* All TMIV's (Traffic Management Installation Vehicles) uses are left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of each shift
* All equipment is returned to the pre-determined location upon return to the yard
* All losses and damage of equipment is recorded and communicated to the contracts department at the earliest opportunity
* All yard duties are completed as requested by management
Requirements:
* MUST be drug and alcohol free
* Lantra accreditation required (TTMBC minimum)
* UK driving license required (with 2 years experience and no more than 3 points)
