Facilities Administrator - Temporary
(3 Months) - £13/hour PAYE
Location: Plymouth (Office Based)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30 (Flexible)
Rate: £13 per hour (PAYE)
One of Plymouth's best employers are looking for a Facilities Administrator to join their friendly team on a temporary basis for approximately 3 months to support with staff absence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and develop filing systems (both manual and electronic) and carry out general admin tasks including photocopying, scanning, and shredding of confidential documents.
2. Handle telephone calls, direct enquiries, and take accurate messages.
3. Provide an accurate typing service for correspondence, memos, spreadsheets, and minutes.
4. Manage meeting room and conference suite bookings, including meet-and-greet duties and room setup.
5. Attend meetings to take and distribute minutes, ensuring confidentiality.
6. Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
7. Issue and log ID cards and keys for staff and contractors.
8. Assist with stock control and replenishment of refreshment supplies.
9. Provide cover for light pottering tasks when required.
Who We're Looking For:
1. Office Administrative experience.
2. Understanding of Facilities Management.
3. Friendly, approachable, and easy-going.
4. Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role (this won't be a desk job all day!).
5. A good communicator with strong organisational skills.
6. Flexible and happy to take on a variety of tasks - not just administration.
7. A holder of a full UK driving licence.
