General duties Ensure that you provide an efficient, professional and detailed handover to the member of staff taking over from you. Ensure your working environment is tidy and free from clutter. Action medication requests and ensure that the prescription is available for collection or delivery in a timely manner. Scan patient correspondence on to clinical system Summarise patient notes. Process patient test results Ensure that all mandatory training is completed. Actively participate in Practice Training to ensure you provide a high level of service for the practice. You may be required to attend training outside of your normal working hours. Ensure filing is up to date. When last to leave at the end of the day ensure that all security processes and checks have been undertaken and that the practice is not left at risk.
