With a focus on design-and-build projects, they deliver exceptional results tailored to their clients’ unique requirements. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team and take the lead on complex and prestigious projects, including a significant hotel refurbishment within a listed building in Central London. The Role: This is a hybrid office-to-site-based role, with time split between the Brentwood headquarters and sites located in Central London and surrounding areas. As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing all commercial aspects of projects, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality results within budget and time constraints. Key Responsibilities: Taking ownership of cost management for high-end residential, new build, and hotel refurbishment projects. Preparing and reviewing cost plans, budgets, and financial forecasts. Managing procurement, tendering processes, and subcontractor negotiations. Overseeing and assessing project variations, valuations, and cost reporting. Managing client and stakeholder relationships to ensure satisfaction and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Mentoring and providing guidance to junior Quantity Surveyors within the team. Ensuring compliance with contractual and financial regulations. What We’re Looking For: Minimum 10 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying, with a strong track record in high-end residential or hotel refurbishment projects. Demonstrated ability to lead on design-and-build contracts and manage complex listed building refurbishments. Excellent financial acumen and problem-solving skills. Hands on attitude. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. Proactive leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire team members. Relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. Full UK driving license. What We Offer: Competitive salary: £65,000 - £80,000 (dependent on experience). Car allowance.
