The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprenticeship Administrator to join our Apprenticeship Admin Team on a temporary maternity cover contract. The Apprenticeship Admin Team plays a crucial role in supporting the apprenticeship curriculum department. In this role, you will provide vital administrative support for the delivery of apprenticeship programmes, ensuring accurate record-keeping, data management, and compliance with college processes.
You will be part of the MIS & Systems Department, working in a busy office environment, providing a range of administrative services to ensure an efficient and responsive service. This will involve supporting student enrolment, compliance checks, examination registrations, results management, and data maintenance. You will use various IT systems to capture, manage, and maintain accurate records, and support financial administration and quality monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the effective production of regular ILR (Individual Learner Record) submissions and prepare data sources to meet deadlines.
• Take responsibility for the accurate input and maintenance of student and enrolment details on the student records system, including outcomes and achievements.
• Liaise with curriculum areas to ensure awareness of college processes, promote accuracy, and evidence learner attendance and eligibility.
• Assist with data quality checks to improve and maintain the integrity of the data.

About you
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive individual with excellent administrative skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail. You should be able to prioritise tasks effectively, work independently, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. A proactive approach to problem-solving will be essential, ensuring all tasks are carried out efficiently and accurately. In this role, you will support the preparation and submission of ILR data, maintain student and enrolment details within the records system, and liaise with curriculum areas to ensure data accuracy. Additionally, you will assist with data quality checks to maintain the integrity of the system and ensure the accuracy of records.

Required
• Level 3 or equivalent qualification
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent Level 2 qualification) or willing to work towards
Preferred
• Relevant experience working in an educational management information environment
• Awareness of data protection and GDPR
