Senior Electronics Engineer
(65,000-70,000 + Relocation package)
A new position as a Senior Electronics Engineer is now available at an innovative company specializing in cutting-edge Defence and Homeland Security technology. They develop pioneering solutions to protect the UK from the latest technological and cyber threats, working at the forefront of rapid design and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Capture requirements, design, develop, document, test, and deliver electronics solutions.
2. Develop FPGA firmware, debug, and test designs.
3. Design and model DSP and signal processing algorithms.
4. Work on high-speed electronics and RF/Microwave electronics design.
5. Develop and test embedded software using C, C#, C++, MATLAB, Python, or Simulink.
6. Implement and design communication and networking protocols.
7. Collaborate with engineers on system architecture, interfaces, and hardware design.
The Ideal Senior Electronics Engineer will Have:
1. A relevant degree and a strong track record of academic excellence.
2. Knowledge of RF/Microwave design, embedded systems, or signal processing.
3. Proficiency in schematic capture, hardware design, and testing.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
5. Experience in the defence sector is desirable but not essential.
