Job Title: Business Development Manager – Electrical Systems
Location: East of England
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Package
The Client
Our client is a global electrical safety business providing products that protect people, machines, and the environment against electrical hazards. They serve various industries including Healthcare, Defence / MOD, Energy, Utilities, renewables, oil & gas, and Rail.
They are looking to add a Business Development Manager to their Healthcare team.
The Role of Business Development Manager – Electrical Systems
* Achieve budgeted volumes and margin after marketing spends
* Manage and grow existing key accounts in line with annual targets
* Develop new accounts within this sector in line with annual targets
* Manage and report on an ongoing pipeline via the CRM and report back with any risks or new opportunities
* Regular analysis of competitor activity and report back to the business on a regular basis
* Regularly network and attend trade shows to develop new business pipeline
* Create profitable quotations ensuring a minimum of 33% net profit is achieved
* Proactively manage and continually evaluate all account activity, providing options, recommendations, and solutions to potential issues and opportunities
* Maintain close communication with other functions to ensure smooth implementation of all equipment and provide excellent customer service
* Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts
* Maintain accurate account files within the CRM system and administrate effectively within deadlines
The Person
* Experience of selling Switchgear or UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supplies) is advantageous
* Former experience with electrical systems in sales (e.g., former electrician, former electrical estimator)
* Clean driving licence
* Proven track record of delivering stretch sales targets
