Job Description
The Key Objectives:
* To guarantee Quality Requirement Satisfaction on a defence programme.
* To ensure the Plan to meet all Customer and Regulatory quality requirements is maintained and followed.
* To review Purchase Order requirements to ensure all relevant Quality requirements will be met.
* To investigate failures utilising the FRACAS and implement Root Cause & Corrective Action.
* To conduct Internal Audits and support External Audits.
Responsibilities:
* Advise teams on requirements for Pt21G/Pt 145 / AS9100 / AS9102.
* Maintain and update Customer facing Quality deliverable documents.
* Ensure all requirements of the programme are proactively met.
* Report and investigate quality failings and implement fixes and improvements as appropriate.
* Ensure performance exceeds Customer expectations for assigned Customers.
* Ensure flow-down of regulatory Quality requirements.
* Engage with Operations to develop a professional and responsive relationship.
* Maintain RCCA process – 24 hours Containment, 5 days Correction, 30 Corrective Action.
* Ensure root causes clearly defined and corrective actions implemented.
* Lead Quality investigations using 8D problem solving techniques.
Requirements:
* Understanding of Aerospace, Quality System and Regulatory Standards.
* EASA Part 21G, Part 21J and Part 145 trained.
* Experience reviewing and creating AS9102 standard FAIRs.
* Understanding of Quality tools and techniques.
* Technical knowledge and ability to interpret Engineering Specifications.
* Knowledge of MRP and IT software solutions.
* Experience in Continuous Improvement.
* Ability to train, mentor and coach individuals on Quality improvement objectives.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
