JB360: Marketing Executive
Location: Ballymena
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Marketing Executive on behalf of one of our clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be given due consideration. Standard hours of work will be Monday to Friday (Apply online only). 40 hours per week. Flexibility is required to work additional hours as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities for the Marketing Executive:
1. Develop and implement the company's marketing plans by both sales sectors and region, responsible for all marketing activities.
2. Manage company marketing budget in conjunction with the Head of Sales & Marketing, ensuring maximum return on investment.
3. Continuously develop website and online presence to maximise brand visibility & lead generation, including analysis of Google Analytics & AdWords.
4. Organise and attend trade shows, exhibitions, customer and merchant site visits as required.
5. Develop a promotional & advertising plan for each sector: agricultural, building and civil infrastructure.
6. Design creative, effective & innovative communication tools.
7. Contribute to new product development by researching customer requirements and identifying innovative ways to add value for our customers.
8. Carry out customer surveys to ensure the company provides excellent customer care, identifying areas of improvement.
9. Analyse marketing statistics and provide appropriate reports and ideas.
10. Conduct research and analysis including target market data, current market share and competitor profiles in order to identify business opportunities.
11. Prepare databases of new business opportunities and follow up as required.
12. Work as part of the commercial department in regard to administration tasks and any other duties, within reason and capability as agreed with the Head of Sales & Marketing.
Skills and Qualifications for the Marketing Executive:
1. Third level education or equivalent experience in marketing.
2. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
3. Experience in online marketing and social media.
4. Ability to collaborate with others.
5. Excellent IT skills & experience in related software packages.
6. Creative approach and ability to bring new ideas.
7. Strong initiative and organisational skills with ability to prioritise.
8. The successful applicant will have the ability to travel through the UK and Ireland on business as required.
Desirable for the Marketing Executive:
1. 3 years+ experience within a busy marketing role.
2. Experience in design of advertising and marketing materials.
3. Experience of report writing and data analysis.
