Senior UX Designer

My Product Path are partnered with a high-growth B2B2C organisation to recruit a Senior UX Designer on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role in a scaling organisation reporting to a brilliant UX Lead who has recently joined the organisation.
As a Senior UX Designer, you will own the end-to-end design process for a key client of theirs, working closely with a cross-functional team to deliver user-centred designs that solve real customer problems.
You will take charge of translating strategic product visions into seamless user experiences, ensuring that design decisions are driven by research, user empathy, and business goals. In this role, you will also mentor junior designers, advocate for UX best practices, and continuously iterate on the product's design to drive business growth and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage UX design projects from concept through to implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate design workshops and ideation sessions to drive innovative, user-centered solutions.
• Own the creation, evolution, and maintenance of design systems, ensuring scalability and consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Conduct and lead user research activities, including usability testing, interviews, and heuristic evaluations, to gather insights into user behaviour and needs.
• Develop user personas, user flows, journey maps, and other key artefacts to inform and guide the design process.
• Create detailed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for both mobile and web applications, adhering to usability, accessibility, and industry standards.
• Mentor and provide leadership to UX designers, helping them grow professionally and improve their design capabilities.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles across the organization, ensuring UX/UI best practices are embedded in the product development process.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality design solutions that align with business objectives and user needs.
• Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving UX/UI methodologies, and share this knowledge with the broader team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• UX Design experience (end to end) in digital organisations
• Proven experience in creating and managing design systems.
• Strong understanding of user research methodologies and experience conducting user research.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Solid understanding of the end-to-end design process, including wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong design skills and user-centered design solutions.
