The Reconnecting Bernwood Otmoor Ray (RBOR) Programme Lead will help nature recover by managing the development of a series of projects that take, or support, action to improve outcomes for wildlife and harness additional benefits for communities. Reconnecting Bernwood Otmoor Ray (RBOR) is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to create a programme which will build foundations with key stakeholders, landowners, land managers, and communities to enable landscape and species recovery in Bernwood, Otmoor and the Ray (BOR) over the long-term, for the benefit of heritage, nature and people. Job Purpose This post is part of the Reconnecting Bernwood, Otmoor, and the Ray National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) programme and will manage delivery of development projects and the application for round 2 funding bid to NHLF, under the Nature Recovery theme. Reporting Line The post holder reports to the Head of Landscape Recovery. Line Management Two direct line reports; Nature Recovery Project Officer and Community Engagement Officer. Key Responsibilities To manage the delivery of the 2 year development phase of the NLHF funded RBOR programme, which consists of a number of projectsManage contracts for cross-cutting themes e.g. monitoring & eval planManage project staffPartner liaison and partner contractsWriting and co-ordinating round 2 application and associated documentsTracking and monitoring budget and deadlinesWork with the Fundraising and Finance teams to ensure compliance with grant scheme requirements and develop match fundingRegular reporting to monitor and escalate risks to project steering groupOrganising internal and external steering group meetingsOverseeing all themes of work/quality control of the project programmeContribute to development of an Area Action Plan for Round 2 applicationAny other duties as delegated by the Chief Executive. Person Specification Experience of successful partnership working with a range of stakeholdersExcellent written and oral communication skills to a range of audiencesProven success in writing funding applications for large, co-created projectsSkills and ability to prioritise workloads and meet conflicting deadlinesSkills and ability to manage multiple project budgets and staffCompetent in use of ArcGISCompetent in use of MS Office functions such as Word and Outlook and advanced ExcelAbility and willingness to demonstrate the BBOWT behaviours and valuesCurrent UK valid car driving licence.
