As the new Maintenance Engineer, you will support high-volume manufacturing by conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment breakdowns, and optimising process performance. You will also collaborate with the Projects Team to implement equipment modifications, ensuring efficiency is maintained within cleanroom and controlled environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns to ensure continuous manufacturing operations.
* Monitor equipment performance and provide technical input to maintain and improve process yields and efficiencies.
* Collaborate with the Projects Team to implement equipment changes and upgrades.
* Fault find and maintain bespoke automated equipment, continually improving systems and processes.
* Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records in line with stringent quality standards.
Requirements:
* Engineering experience in a manufacturing or similar environment, with skills in fault finding, and problem solving.
* Completion of a recognised Engineering apprenticeship or higher education qualification (ONC, HNC, HND, or degree).
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with peers and other departments.
* Maintain high standards of record keeping and adherence to quality systems.
* Experience with laser cutting, micro fluid deposition, vision systems, or regulated industries (pharma/medical devices) is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided
