We have opportunities that range from senior/team leader level where skills and experience in the industry are proven with ambition of a pathway into Duty Management level, as well as unqualified & entry level role (training & development provided) as a first step on the ladder into the leisure industry where we provide a pathway of progression through the levels of the role. The successful candidates will join our dedicated team to prepare for bookings and events in our swimming pool, indoor/multi-use areas and outdoor facilities working as part of both the lifeguard team and duty manager team being responsible and leading the shift. Main duties and responsibilities You will be part of a team preparing facilities for bookings and events from international/national standard through to local grass roots level. This includes organisations such as Arsenal Women’s FC, Saracens Mavericks, England Fencing, Swim England, England Badminton and many more. Successful candidates will work as part of the lifeguard team, but also support the duty management within a supportive, encouraging environment. Skills and experience required For senior role only, previous supervisory experience of working within a Wet and Dry sport / leisure center would be desirable. WELCOMES Values (see Job Description) Qualifications required We are looking for candidates who have: A current and valid NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification), OR the ability to achieve in the first 3-6 months employment (Internal training & assessment provided) and GSCE Maths & English grade D/3 or above. Senior Level: Appointments considered at Senior level will be dependent on significant and demonstrable skills and experience which align with the desirable criteria accompanied by the additional accountabilities and responsibilities stated. There will be the ability to move up through the salary grades as knowledge and experience grows within the role and agreed set criteria met.
