The Headteacher and SENCO of a highly regarded Primary School in Wavertree are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. This exceptional opportunity involves working closely with the EYFS and KS1 staff to design and implement targeted interventions aimed at enhancing Phonics, Reading, and Writing skills. The position is on-site at the school.
This role is truly unique and would be an excellent fit for an experienced TA specifically interested in working within EYFS and KS1. To be considered, candidates must possess the confidence to deliver top-notch phonics interventions and work with children who may require additional support. Experience in supporting children with SEN, such as ASC, ADHD, and MLD, is also essential. The ability to effectively track students' progress and collaborate with class teachers and the school SENCO is vital.
As a newly established position within the school, the role is set to commence as soon as possible, and based on the success of the interventions, may possibly lead to a permanent role.
The school is centrally located within the Wavertree area, with easy access to transport links, in addition to free parking being provided on site.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
* Experience working in EYFS and/or KS1.
* Excellent Literacy and Phonics knowledge.
* Availability to work five days per week.
* Enthusiasm and creativity to inspire children and encourage them to reach their full potential.
